SUPPORT YOUR REPTON TEAMS IN 2011/12 WINTER LEAGUE
Following a successful campaign in this year’s Derbyshire Summer League which saw the Repton Mens Team finish 3rd in Division 1, the 2011/12 Derbyshire Winter League is now underway.
Repton are fielding three Mens teams with the 1st Team competing in the ‘new’ Premier Division, the 2nd Team in Division 1, and the 3rd Team, after last year’s promotion, now in Division 3.
Home matches are on Thursday nights - get down to the Club and support your teams!

CLUB REFURBISHMENT PROGRAM COMPLETETED
The extensive refurbishment program undertaken at the Club over the last twelve months is now complete and sees significant improvements to the bar, kitchen and changing room areas and an overall ’makeover’ of the Club throughout. It is hoped that this will both enhance the experience for existing members and help to attract new members.
CLUB MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
In order to ensure the future and continued developmentof your Club, we urgently need to attract new members. To this end, a leaflet has been designed encouraging people to come down to the Club, try out our new improved facilities and ultimately join as members - go to ‘HAVE A GAME ON US’ to see the details.
Thousands of these have been printed and we need to get them out to as many homes as possible in the local area. It would be a massive help to the Club if you or members of your family could assist with this process and as an extra incentive there will be a £25 thankyou to the distributor of any leaflet which results in a new full member.

INTERNAL LEAGUES - POPULARITY GROWS
The reintroduced internal leagues have been a great success this year in helping people meet and play other members As an INCENTIVE, all players who play all of their matches within the timescales allowed will receive a FREE COURT STAMP regardless of their results!!.
And as an even BIGGER INCENTIVE, any player who plays all of their matches within the timescales allowed and wins them all will receive 1 FREE WEEKS WORTH OF SQUASH!! Simply select the week and all the courts you wish to play on during that week will be free of charge to you and your opponent.

TABLE TENNIS AT THE CLUB
As part of the ongoing development of the Club, a table tennis table has been provided in the vacant area above court 1 with bats and balls available from the bar. A Table Tennis League is now in full swing and everyone is welcome to use this new facility.

HALF PRICE JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP OFFER
For those Juniors who only attend the Junior Coaching sessions on Friday evenings run by our coach, Lee Watson, the Committe have decided to offer membership at half the normal rate i.e. just £11.00 per year. Courts on Friday evening will also be half price for Juniors.

REPTON BAR ROTA
As you know we now run a member’s bar and are well represented with helpers BUT we could do with a couple of extra people to share the load.
Can you spare 1 day per month?
Repton is looking for members to join the existing Bar Rota to cover 1 night a month behind the Bar beteween 6:30pm and approx. 9pm. If you would like to help, or require any more information, please contact any member of the Committee.
