2010 CLUB TOURNAMENT RESULTS
A successful Finals night on Tuesday 27th April saw a number of unexpected results with Simon Price overcoming Mitchell Cook in the Mens and the ‘Grey Magic’ pairing of Mike Peace and Paul Howkins triumphing in the Doubles over the previously unbeaten champions Simon Evans and Simon Price.

EXCELLENT WINTER SEASON FOR ALL REPTON TEAMS
An excellent winter season for all Repton’s squash teams in the Derbyshire League. The Mens 1st team achieved second place in Division 1 behind Burton, and the 2nd and 3rd teams both achieved promotion to Divisions 2 and 5 respectively.
On their first year back in the leagues for some time, our Ladies team put in an excellent second half performance to achieve a creditable second place in Division 4.

CLUB REFURBISHMENT - VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED
As part of a refurbishment programme during the summer months, both changing rooms will have new flooring and a coat of paint, and the bar area will also be updated. Any assistance that members could give with the painting would be gratefully received - please contact any member of the Committee.

BULLS HEAD SOCIAL SUCCESS
Following on from the successful evening in January with the Bulls Head, which has resulted in several new members joining the Club the Committee would like to run another of these events and are seeking suggestions of other local businesses/organisations who could be invited.
INTERNAL LEAGUES RE-LAUNCHED
The reintroduced internal leagues are going from strength to strength with new participants being added all the time. Don’t forget - the winner of each league will get a free court providing they have paid all their matches.

HALF PRICE JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP OFFER
For those Juniors who only attend the Junior Coaching sessions on Friday evenings run by our coach, Lee Watson, the Committe have decided to offer membership at half the normal rate i.e. just £11.00 per year. Courts on Friday evening will also be half price for Juniors.

REPTON BAR ROTA
As you know we now run a member’s bar and are well represented with helpers BUT we could do with a couple of extra people to share the load.
Can you spare 1 day per month?
Repton is looking for members to join the existing Bar Rota to cover 1 night a month behind the Bar beteween 6:30pm and approx. 9pm. If you would like to help, or require any more information, please contact any member of the Committee.
